Recently, our truck driver Theo Jeuken traveled to beautiful Sweden for his work to test tires.
Theo tests tyres under extreme weather conditions. Recently he did so in extreme cold, at -18 degrees Celsius.
The tyres are tested by driving an average of 100 kilometres in a day. Theo then drives his truck across an ice lake at speeds of between 5 and 30 kilometres per hour. This is how they find out what effect the cold and the slipperiness of the ice lake have on the tyres.
Of course there is also some time to explore Sweden after work hours. Theo was even lucky enough to see the Northern Lights!
